EDEN HALL, Opulence Riesling 2022

A little sweeter. A lot more interesting.

A perfumed, gently sweet Eden Valley Riesling born from an unexpected moment in the vineyard. When botrytis touched part of the fruit, Eden Hall hand-picked those berries and blended them with clean Riesling rather than letting the vintage go to waste.

Eden Valley, South Australia · Riesling · 2022

What to expect

Rose water · Jasmine · Ripe orchard fruit · Bright Riesling acidity

Gently sweet and perfumed, with enough acidity to keep everything fresh.

Drink this when

Dinner has something spicy on the table — or you're skipping straight to cheese.

Worth opening

Opulence exists because Eden Hall saw possibility in a vintage that changed course. The botrytis-touched fruit brings richness and perfume, while clean Riesling fruit keeps the wine bright.

Meet the maker

Eden Hall began when spinal surgeon David Hall and wife Mardi decided appreciating good wine wasn’t enough — they wanted to grow it. Their Eden Valley family vineyard became the place to do exactly that.

Pair it with

Spicy Thai or Vietnamese dishes · Blue cheese · Apple tart
