Worth opening
Before there was Down The Rabbit Hole, there was this Shiraz. In 2013, Dom’s mentor Walter Clappis encouraged him to make the McLaren Vale Shiraz he had always wanted to drink. One wine became a side project, and the side project became the family winery.
This is still the bottle that takes the story back to the beginning.
Meet the maker
Domenic and Elise Palumbo built Down The Rabbit Hole from that first Shiraz into a small-volume McLaren Vale winery centred on good wine, good food and time spent together.
