For people who think Pinot Noir should have a little mystery to it. Earthy, savoury, and quietly impressive. Open this when dinner turns into a second bottle.

One of Australia’s most iconic Pinot Noirs. Complex, savoury, and built for slow dinners, long conversations, and bottles worth opening.

From the legendary Bannockburn Vineyards in Geelong, this estate Pinot Noir is a benchmark Australian wine that continues to define cool-climate Pinot Noir in Australia.

Made from fruit grown across Bannockburn's historic vineyard sites, including vines planted as far back as 1976, the 2024 release captures everything the region is known for: purity, structure, savoury complexity, and remarkable ageing potential.

In the glass, expect layers of dark cherry, wild berries, spice, forest floor, woodsmoke, black tea, and earthy undertones. Fine tannins carry through a long, structured finish, creating a Pinot Noir that feels both powerful and restrained.

This is not a simple fruit-forward Pinot. It's a bottle that rewards attention.

Why We Chose It

At Álavôt, we're drawn to wines with a sense of place and a story behind them.

Bannockburn has spent decades building a reputation as one of Australia's most respected producers, crafting wines that genuinely reflect their vineyards rather than trends.

This is the kind of bottle we love opening when the table is full, the food is simple, and the conversation stretches longer than planned.
